NIOD Survival 10 (SPF10, PA++) has a lightweight formula that provides intense protection from the damaging effects of environmental and lifestyle-related assaults. Free radical activity has been linked to premature ageing, and can be caused by anything from exposure to pollution, stress or exercise.
NIOD's Survival range draws on the latest research and technological advances to provide the most comprehensive skin defence system to date. It contains four networked defence systems to combat environmental and internal stresses, targeting free radicals, glycation (sugar-induced aging), pollution, smog, stress, infrared and blue light.
NIOD Survival 10 has been specially developed for darker skins that are less at risk of burning but still need protection from UVA and UVB rays. Use it when the UV index is low (less than 2).
NIOD Survival 10 uses Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide mineral sunscreens. Zinc Oxide is especially effective as it can actually absorb UV rays as well as reflecting them away from skin. The sunscreen particles are suspended in non-comedogenic silicones to offer lightweight UV protection in a very fluid, spreadable formula that doesn't block pores or harm the skin in any way. Survival products are free from nanoparticles and don't cause any oxidative stress.
Like other products in the Survival range, NIOD Survival 1O offers powerful protection from the damaging effects of modern life. Superoxide Dismutase (derived from Yeast) supplements the body's own natural anti-oxidant defences, combating the very damaging effects of superoxides in cells. It is perhaps the most important anti-oxidant force in the human body. Applied to the skin, Superoxide Dismutase has been shown to reduce the additional inflammation caused by UVB rays by nearly 100%.
Dimethylmethoxy Chromanol is another highly effective anti-oxidant, targeting free radicals caused by UV exposure, stress and pollution. Fractionated Melanin is especially potent in protecting from High-Energy Visible light (also known as blue light), absorbing light in the range of 400-500 nm wavelengths. A range of Prebiotics and natural Botanical Extracts support healthy skin functions and offer additional anti-oxidant protections, helping to reduce redness while reducing the appearance photo-damage, combating premature aging and increasing skin's elasticity.
How to use:
Apply generously to the face before UV exposure. For continuous protection, reapply every 2 hours and after intense perspiration, towel-drying, swimming or bathing.
NIOD Survival 10 offers a low level of protection agains UV rays and is designed for darker skin tones that rarely or never burn (skin types V and VI on the Fitzpatrick scale) and for use when the UV index is low (under 2). For lighter skin tones or days with a higher UV index, a formula offering minimum SPF20 is recommended.

To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use and the destination country, orders that weigh more than 2kg will often be split and sent in two or more packages.
We endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it, please allow for some delays during peak period / Black Friday due to high volumes. If you want goods to be processed as priority please select "next day order" or "tracked delivery" as these orders are prioritised and processed faster than standard delivery items.
Returns Policy
We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will happily refund any unwanted goods returned within 14 days from date of delivery. All unwanted goods must be returned in an unused, as new condition with the original packaging and any free samples/free gifts received along with a completed returns form. Please note all applicable free gifts and samples supplied must also be returned with your order. If not we will make a discretionary deduction to cover our cost for these items. We will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them less the true cost to us for shipping the item to you. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the goods are returned safely to us.
In the unlikely event that your product is faulty upon arrival we will happily refund your item when it is returned to us within 14 days from the date of purchase. Please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the product and we will be able to assist you. We will offer you a refund or exchange within 14 days of receiving the returned item/s. We will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them including the delivery charges for sending the item to you.
We will refund back to the original method of payment charged only (e.g. credit card, debit card, gift voucher).
In some cases we can also accept returns of beauty products where you have experienced irritation or allergic reaction. If this occurs, please contact us so that we can determine the nature of the problem. Allergy returns must not be more than 20% used. For returns of this type, we will need to pass your name and contact details on to the relevant manufacturer, so that they can contact you regarding quality control if necessary.
It is not possible to return any products that are on final or are reduced to clear after the seven-day cooling off period for refund or exchange unless the products are faulty or damaged.
