The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is an exceptionally pure natural moisturiser to keep skin soft and supple, ease any dry patches, and balance skin's oil production.

Why you need it

The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane locks moisture into your skin, easing any dry patches and helping to prevent and minimise fine lines. Squalane is naturally found in skin, and this oil is an excellent natural moisturiser. It helps to prevent moisture loss, keeps skin soft and supple, restores skin's elasticity and natural moisture balance, and balances skin's oil production so it can even benefit oily and acne-prone skins. Squalene has Anti-Oxidant properties, so it protects against premature ageing caused by free radical activity and works to repair damage caused by UV exposure and environmental stressors. Traditionally used to help heal wounds, it can help improve allergies, eczema, psoriasis and scar tissue.

Not only is Squalane an amazing skin hydrator, it can be used on hair. Work a few drops through damp hair before blow drying and styling for heat protection, or through dry hair to add shine and condition.

The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is completely pure, natural, and Ecocert approved.

Key Ingredients

Squalane: This is a saturated and stable hydrocarbon that is naturally found in the skin and sebum. It is typically sourced from plant oils such as olive, palm, wheat germ, amaranth, and rice bran. Squalane has exceptional moisture-retention properties and can help to prevent transdermal moisture loss.
