Kokoelma: Fragrance For Her

Find your scent family

Not sure what you like? Think about the scents you're drawn to day to day. Most perfumes fall into a few families, and once you know yours, finding a new favourite gets much easier.

• Sweet and gourmand: dessert-inspired scents with notes like caramel, vanilla and fruit. Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande are the place to start.
• Floral: soft, romantic and endlessly wearable. Think Elie Saab's signature florals or the much-loved Ghost.
• Fresh: light, clean and perfect for everyday wear. Tommy Hilfiger's fresh classics have been feel-good favourites for decades.
• Warm and evening: deeper, richer scents made for nights out, often with notes of amber, vanilla and woods.

Eau de parfum vs eau de toilette vs body mist

The difference comes down to how concentrated the fragrance oils are, which affects how long your scent lasts.

• Eau de parfum (EDP): a higher concentration of fragrance, so it lasts longer and makes more of a statement. A little goes a long way.
• Eau de toilette (EDT): lighter and fresher, ideal for daytime and for anyone who prefers a softer scent.
• Body mist: the lightest of the three. Perfect for spritzing throughout the day, layering under your perfume or keeping in your bag.

How to make your perfume last longer

• Moisturise first: fragrance clings to hydrated skin, so apply it after your body lotion.
• Go for pulse points: wrists, neck, behind the ears and the inner elbows are warm spots that help your scent develop.
• Don't rub: rubbing your wrists together breaks down the top notes. Spritz and let it dry.
• Layer it up: pair your perfume with a matching body mist for scent that lasts all day.
• Store it well: keep your bottles away from heat, sunlight and steamy bathrooms to protect the fragrance.

Perfume gift sets

Fragrance is one of the easiest gifts to get right, especially when it comes beautifully boxed. Travel-friendly minis are perfect for trying a few scents before choosing a favourite.

Women's perfume FAQs

What's the difference between eau de parfum and eau de toilette?

Eau de parfum has a higher concentration of fragrance oils than eau de toilette, so it usually lasts longer on the skin. Eau de toilette is lighter and often feels fresher, which makes it great for everyday wear.

How do I choose a perfume as a gift?

Think about the scents they already love. Someone with a sweet tooth might love a gourmand, while a fan of fresh flowers will likely suit a floral. If you're not sure, a mini or travel set is a lovely way to let them discover a few.

Where should I apply perfume?

Spritz onto pulse points like your wrists, neck and behind your ears, where warmth helps the scent develop. For a softer effect, mist into the air and walk through it.

How long does perfume last once opened?

Stored away from heat and direct sunlight, most perfumes keep their scent for several years. If a fragrance starts to smell sharp or change colour, it's time for a new bottle.
