Cantu

Cantu is a haircare brand created to rally the nation to embrace and champion their natural curl and waves! Noting a distinct lack of products for wavy, curly and coily hair types, Cantu was developed in 2004, by a team of dedicated yet frustrated healthy hair enthusiasts. Featuring bestsellers and award winners including the Coconut Curl Cream and the Wave Whip Curling Mousse, these products specialise in their Shea Butter ingredients, that provide an ultra-moisturising and high quality result for all textures of hair.

What Curl Type Does My Hair Have?

Identifying what hair type you have will help you build your haircare routine, and discover techniques to work for you!
Type 2 Hair - Wavy: This is typically shaped like an S and lies between straight and curly hair types.
Type 3 Hair - Curly: This ranges from loose curls to corkscrew sized curls. Hair is springy and could be fine in texture, but voluminous in appearance.
Type 4 Hair - Coily: This is very tightly formed hair that is springy and can be thick in appearance, but delicate and fragile as it is prone to dryness.

Which Cantu Curl Cream Is Best for Curls, Coils and Waves?

The Coconut Curling Cream is the one most people start with: it defines, moisturises and strengthens curly, coily and wavy hair. If your hair feels brittle, the Avocado Curling Cream is the more hydrating choice. The Curl Activator Cream defines, hydrates and adds volume, and the Define and Shine Custard is the rich one for the driest curls. Want one product that does a bit of everything? The Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream works as a daily styler or a leave-in treatment.

Cantu Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Treatments

Wash with the Cleansing Cream Shampoo and Hydrating Conditioner, or go for the Avocado Shampoo and Avocado Conditioner for very dry hair. Once a week, the Deep Treatment Masque gives dry, damaged hair some extra care. For the scalp, there's the Hair and Scalp Oil with tea tree and jojoba, or the Rosemary & Mint Biotin-Infused Oil. Next-day curls bounce back with the Comeback Curl Revitalizer Spray.

Cantu Kids

Little curls get their own range: Kids Shampoo, Kids Conditioner with honey, coconut oil and shea butter, the Kids Curling Cream and a Kids Detangler to make brushing easier.
