Which Kérastase hair mask should I use?

How to use a Kérastase hair mask

Shampoo first, then squeeze out the excess water so the mask is not diluted. Apply it from the mid-lengths to the ends, comb it through and leave it on for around five minutes, or as directed on the pack. Rinse well.

Mask, conditioner or both?

Use a Kérastase conditioner on most wash days and swap it for a mask once or twice a week. Fine hair usually needs a mask less often than thick or very dry hair. Pick a mask from the same range as your Kérastase shampoo, and finish with one of our Kérastase hair oils and serums to seal in the shine.

Kérastase Hair Mask FAQs

How often should I use a Kérastase hair mask?

Once or twice a week is enough for most hair types. Very dry or damaged hair can use a mask more often, while fine hair may only need one weekly.

Which Kérastase mask is best for very dry hair?

Nutritive Masquintense Riche for medium to thick hair, or Nutritive Masquintense for fine to medium hair.

Can I leave a Kérastase hair mask on overnight?

Kérastase masks are rinse-out treatments that work in minutes, so there is no need. For overnight care, use a leave-in night serum such as the Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum.

Do I use a hair mask before or after conditioner?

Use it instead of conditioner. Shampoo, apply the mask to the mid-lengths and ends, leave it on, then rinse.

Which Kérastase mask is best for blonde hair?

Blond Absolu Masque Ultra-Violet is a purple mask that neutralises brassy tones. Masque Cicaextreme is the richer choice for hair that feels fragile after lightening.
