After cleansing, apply 3-4 drops of your chosen serum to the face, neck and décolletage. Once the skin is touch try, follow with moisturiser or SPF.

0.5% Retinol: Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that belongs to a family of Vitamin A derivatives known as retinoids. A great alternative to Retinoic Acid (prescription Vitamin A), cosmetic grade Retinol is a slower, more gentle introduction for the skin, allowing it to be applied regularly and without visible trauma. Retinol is clinically proven to work as an antioxidant, to regulate skin turnover, to help accelerate cell division, cell differentiation and to encourage the formation of collagen for firmer, smoother skin as well as many other skin enhancing benefits.

5% Niacinamide: Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin also known as vitamin B3. It helps to reinforce and enhance the skin’s barrier function by increasing the production of ceramides in the surface layers of skin, helping to build moisture and prevent trans epidermal water loss. Niacinamide also helps reduce hyperpigmentation by inhibiting the ability of melanocytes to pass melanin to the skin cells, resulting in the reduced appearance of uneven skin tone. It is an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties may assist in controlling sebum production and stimulate microcirculation, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Q: Which serum should I apply first?
A: Generally speaking, apply water-soluble serums first and oil/lipid-soluble serums second. This is because water-soluble serums can’t penetrate into the skin optimally through oil-soluble serums.
Alpha-H Vitamin B & C Serums are water soluble. Alpha-H Vitamin A & E Serums are oil soluble.

Q: What if my serums are all water soluble?
A: Think about the viscosity of each serum (how thick it is). Apply the thinnest serum first and thicker serum second.
