how to use

Mist throughout damp hair, at the roots and lengths. Allow hair to air-dry or blow dry as desired. For maximum volume results, use following the Pureology Pure Volume or Hydrate Sheer haircare systems.

Leaves my hair tacky with only slightly more volume

I'm not thrilled with this spray. I've only been using a small amount, 2-3 sprays at most, but it still leaves my hair very tacky and gluey. It does provide a small amount of increased volume, but I'm not sure the trade off is worth it. I'd rather have slightly flatter hair that is silky smooth. I think I'll only use this when I'm wearing my hair up and want it to stay in place, the gluey effect would probably help in that case.

My main bugbear is flat hair, I have very straight shiny hair which can become a bit limp. I bought this to get some volume into my roots. I overused the spray on my first attempt and it left my hair a bit tacky! My advice would be to hold the spray bottle away from the hair and lightly spray on desired areas. I am much more light handed with it now and it works great. My hair holds its shape better with no product build up. Would recommend this spray!
