The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Mask is a deep-cleansing, exfoliating face mask to clear blemishes and congested skin while restoring a radiant glow. Ideal for tackling acne, acne-prone skin or blackheads.

Why you need it

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque has an oil-free formula infused with deep cleansing charcoals and clays. It brightens dull, lacklustre skin and helps to minimise blackheads, breakouts and blemishes. It also helps to clear acne and acne-prone skin, balancing excess oil and actively working to clarify clogged pores. Use all over the face (avoid lips and eye area) or as a targeted treatment just where it's needed for skin that looks smooth and clear once more.

Salicylic Acid is an oil-soluble BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) which makes it ideal for targeting the removal of dead skin cells on the surface of oily and blemish-prone skin, revealing more radiant skin beneath. Charcoal and clays are ingredients renowned for their deep cleansing abilities due to their porosity and large surface area available for adsorption. They aid the removal of facial impurities that would otherwise remain on the skin surface and clog pores. In comparison to Deciem's The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution , Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is a rinse-off formula. Leave on for no longer than 10 minutes in order to maximize the exfoliating benefits.

Apply The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque evenly to clean, dry skin (do not use on wet skin) avoiding the eye area and lips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice a week. Patch test before using.

the salicylic acid mask the ordinary

i have been using this mask for a month now and i don't really see a difference yet. i have been using it twice a week for five min , the mask feels like a clay mask and its very hard to wash it off .
not disappointed from the product but not that satisficed also .
