Which The Ordinary retinol should I start with?

If you've never used retinol, start with the Retinol 0.2% in Squalane or the Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion, then move up to the 0.5% or 1% strengths. The Retinal 0.2% Emulsion is a very high strength formula for experienced retinoid users.

Which The Ordinary exfoliant should I choose?

Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% is a mild AHA to start with. The Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner brightens and refines, the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution targets clogged pores and blackheads, and the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is an extra-strong option.
