This is a gentle formula containing broad spectrum sunscreen to defend the skin barrier against harmful UVA and UVB rays. This fast-absorbing, water resistant moisturizer was developed with dermatologists and is suitable for all skin types.

CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion PM:
Specially created to moisturize sensitive skin that is normal to dry. The ultra lightweight lotion helps protect the skin barrier with 3 essential Ceramides, while the patented MVE® delivery technology ensures controlled and lasting hydration. Hyaluronic Acid helps retain skin's natural moisture and keep skin hydrated for up to 24 hours. This soothing moisturizer was developed with Dermatologists and is non-comedonenic.

Think cream but feels lightweight on the skin. I am using it over my normal day cream and under make up. I am sure using it on its own is fine aswell as it provides good hydration.
