The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane is a powerful treatment designed to help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and visible pores. This formulation promotes a smoother, more radiant complexion, making it a great addition to your skincare routine.

Why you need it

The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane is a water-free solution that contains a 5% concentration of an advanced Retinoid active complex called Granactive Retinoid that has been shown to offer better results against multiple signs of ageing than Retinol without any of the irritation and drawbacks common with Retinol. Granactive Retinoid is a solubilized system of Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate which offers a multi-fold better effect against signs of ageing than nearly all other forms of non-prescription Retinoid.

If you have never used Retinol or active Retinoids before, we recommend using The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane initially so skin can build tolerance.

Important:
Do not use products containing Retinol or Retinoids when pregnant or breastfeeding.

how to use
Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other Retinoid/Retinol treatments. Avoid unprotected sun exposure - always wear daytime SPF. Store in a cool, dry place.

When to use:
Before Oils/Creams. PM Only.

Conflicts:
Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Do not use if pregnant/breastfeeding. Use of direct acids (Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid etc) may increase skin's sensitivity if used together with Retinols/Retinoids so please monitor how your skin responds and reduce or discontinue use if necessary.

SPF recommended:
Use of daytime SPF is strongly recommended when using Retinol/Retinoid products.

Caution:
Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Sun protection is particularly important when using retinoids. This product must not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid. This product is not a treatment for acne. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid including those used in this formulation.

Funny story
This works I have no doubt it’s very gentle but potent, it’s giving me a hairy face...lol
But that just proves it’s works on cell turn over it has reduced scar significantly and not everyone will get the hair growth so just keep it in mind

Should I use Granactive Retinoid 5% before or after applying serum? I was told by someone that serum should be the first layer on your skin and yet I have read where Retinoid should be applied before creams .
