Acne can affect not only teenagers, but adults alike, and an essential step in an anti-acne skincare routine is a daily use Blemish Control Cleanser to gently exfoliate the dead skin cells that can clog pores and contribute to blemishes and acne.

This is formulated to target blemishes with Salicylic Acid to exfoliate, unclog pores and stimulate cell renewal, and Purifying Clay to absorb oil and help provide a matte finish. The CeraVe salicylic acid body wash is also enriched with ingredients to restore the skin including 3 essential ceramides to main the skin's barrier and prevent TEWL and Niacinamide to help reduce redness and inflammation and gently soothe.

how to use
Use every morning and evening. Wet face, then work a dime-size amount into a lather. Gently massage, avoiding the eye area. Rinse well.

Key Ingredients
Salicylic Acid (2%): Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that is known for its exfoliating and anti-acne properties. It penetrates into the pores to help dissolve excess sebum, dead skin cells, and debris. This action helps prevent clogged pores, which are often a precursor to blemishes and acne. Salicylic acid also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce redness and swelling associated with blemishes.

Ceramides: Are lipid molecules naturally present in the skin's barrier. They help maintain the integrity of the skin barrier, preventing moisture loss and providing protection. The inclusion of ceramides in the cleanser helps support the skin's barrier function, ensuring that the cleansing process doesn't compromise the skin's natural defences.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Niacinamide is a versatile ingredient known for its anti-inflammatory and oil-balancing properties. It can help regulate sebum production, which can contribute to reducing the occurrence of blemishes. Niacinamide also has a soothing effect on the skin and can help improve overall skin texture.

How long should one leave the blemish control cleanser on the face before washing off?
