Which anti-ageing serum should I choose?

A retinol serum if you want to target fine lines and texture, a peptide serum for a gentler option, a hyaluronic acid serum for hydration and plumper-looking skin, or vitamin C for brightness.

Which retinol should I start with if I'm new to it?

Start with a low strength, such as The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalane or the Pestle & Mortar Superstar Retinoid Night Oil Beginner Strength, and only move up once your skin is used to it. Wear SPF during the day while using retinol.

What's the difference between an anti-wrinkle cream and a serum?

Serums are lightweight and concentrated, so they suit targeted ingredients like retinol, peptides and vitamin C. Creams are richer and help keep skin moisturised. Many people use a serum under their moisturiser.
