Why calcium matters

Hard water leaves calcium behind in your hair. Over time it makes hair stiff, dull and more likely to break, and it stops treatments from working as well as they should. Première uses citric acid to remove the excess calcium, then glycine and peptides to help reconnect the broken keratin links inside the hair. Read more in Damaged Hair? Why Hard Water Could Be the Culprit.

The Première routine

Première or Résistance?

Choose Première if your hair is damaged and you live in a hard water area, or if it has been through bleach and colour. Choose Kérastase Résistance for hair that is weak and brittle and needs strengthening. Blonde hair can pair Première with Kérastase Blond Absolu.
