How to choose the right mascara

  • For volume: look for a full, dense brush and a creamy formula, like Stila HUGE Extreme Lash or SOSU Eye Voltage Volumizing Mascara.
  • For length and lift: a slim or flexible brush separates and stretches every lash. Try SWEED Pro Lash Lift or Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High.
  • For curl: Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce holds a curl all day. Use a lash curler first for extra lift.
  • For staying power: waterproof and tubing mascaras, like Bellamianta Lash Illusion Tubing Mascara, resist rain, tears and humidity.

Mascara tips

Wiggle the wand at the root of your lashes, then sweep up to the tips. Let the first coat set slightly before adding a second. Want even more drama? Add false lashes, or nourish your natural lashes with an eyebrow and eyelash treatment.

Mascara FAQs

What is a tubing mascara?

Tubing mascara wraps each lash in tiny water-resistant tubes. They don't smudge or flake, but slide off easily with warm water.

How often should I replace my mascara?

Every three months is a good rule of thumb, to keep it fresh and hygienic.

Waterproof or regular mascara?

Waterproof is ideal for long days, holidays and weddings. Regular mascara is easier to remove for everyday wear.

Which mascara gives the most volume?

For maximum volume, try Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara or SOSU Eye Voltage Volumizing Mascara.
