What does Kérastase Genesis do?

Hair can seem thinner when weak strands snap before they have finished growing. Genesis is made for exactly that: hair fall linked to breakage. Aminexil, edelweiss native cells and ginger root work together to strengthen the hair fibre and look after the scalp, so hair feels stronger, fuller and more resilient.

Kérastase Genesis FAQs

Does Kérastase Genesis help with hair loss?

Genesis is made for hair fall linked to breakage. It strengthens weak hair and cares for the scalp so less hair is lost to snapping. It is not a medical treatment, so if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss, speak to your GP or a trichologist.

Which Kérastase Genesis shampoo should I choose?

Choose Bain Hydra-Fortifiant if your hair is thin or gets oily, and Bain Nutri-Fortifiant if your hair is dry.

Is there a Kérastase Genesis range for men?

Yes. Genesis Homme includes two shampoos, a thickening spray and a molding clay made for men with thinning or fine hair.

What is the difference between Genesis and Chronologiste?

Genesis targets hair fall caused by breakage. Chronologiste is a revitalising range for hair and scalp showing signs of ageing, such as dryness, dullness and loss of volume.
