Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel exfoliates the skin's surface and penetrates deep into pores to leave you with fresh, smooth, even-toned skin. Blackheads and blemishes begone!

Why you need it

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel contains 2% Salicylic Acid is formulated to combat stubborn blemishes and blackheads. Salicylic Acid is a Beta-Hydroxy Acid which penetrates the lining of pores to gradually remove blockages as well as sweeping away dead skin cells from the skin's surface. This lightweight, water-based gel absorbs quickly and includes anti-irritants like Willow Herb and Green Tea Leaf Extracts to minimise irritation.
Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel can also be beneficial if you have Rosacea. Salicylic Acid has anti-inflammatory properties, so it helps to calm redness while removing the flaky skin which can be associated with Rosacea.

how to use
Using your finger tips, smooth a small amount onto clean skin, avoiding direct contact with the eyes, eyelids, and lower lash line. Follow with sunscreen during the day. At night you can follow with your favourite serum or moisturiser.
If you haven't used a product containing Salicylic Acid before, you might like to build up usage gradually to minimise the risk of irritation. Start by using the product every other night, increasing to every day after a few weeks, as your skin's tolerance grows. If your skin needs it, you could even use Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel twice a day.

Skin type:
Normal to Oily and Combination Skin.

Important:
Do not use products containing Salicylic Acid if you are allergic to aspirin.
Always use a daily SPF when using products containing AHAs/BHAs like Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid.

Aqua, Methylpropanediol (slip agent/water-binding agent), Butylene Glycol (water-binding agent/humectant/slip agent), Polysorbate 20 (emulsifier), Salicylic Acid (Beta Hydroxy Acid, exfoliant), Phytosphingosine (lipid-based water-binding agent), Hydroxyethylcellulose (thickener), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract (antioxidant), Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract (anti-irritant), Epilobium Angustifolium (Willow Herb) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract (anti-irritant), Bisabolol (anti-irritanting agent), Tetrasodium EDTA (stabilizing agent), Sodium Hydroxide (pH adjuster).
