The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion is a potent retinol/retinoid treatment that gives you visible anti-ageing results without irritation. It reduces the appearance of lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone.

how to use
Apply a few drops in the evening as part of your regular skincare regime. Use only at night time. Do not use with other products containing Retinol and Retinoids. Always use sun protection during the day time.

When to use:
Before Oils/Creams. PM Only.

Conflicts:
Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Do not use if pregnant/breastfeeding. Use of direct acids (Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid etc) may increase skin's sensitivity if used together with Retinols/Retinoids so please monitor how your skin responds and reduce or discontinue use if necessary.

Important:
Products containing Retinol are not recommended for use during pregnancy or when breast-feeding.
Always use a daily SPF when using products containing Retinol.

TIP: Retinoids can sometimes cause irritation and dryness when first used, before the skin builds up tolerance. To decrease the likelihood of irritation, you can dilute The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion by adding to a cream or serum that does not already contain Retinol or Retinoids. You could also begin by using the product every 2 or 3 days initially, gradually increasing frequency.

Lasts very long and seems to work

Unfortunately I'm not very consistent in using this product, but when I use it it gives my skin some glow that lasts until I wash my face and even after I wash my face my skin looks healthier. You only need to apply a small amount, as it's rather liquid, so it lasts long. I use it after the Ordinary Buffet and before the Ordinary natural moisturising factors.

I have been using this now for about 10 days as a part of a regime. I use it every second night as I use the vitamin c suspension on the other night. Since beginning my "The Ordinary" regime my skin is smoother and softer. I can't contribute this change to this specific product but it is easy to apply and great price. Defo worth a try

This is essentially a form of Vitamin A. I've used this before and I thought it was helping to clear up by blemished skin but couldn't be certain. However as soon as I stopped using it I realised it had been working! So I went right back to it. Retinoids are also known for anti-aging properties so two birds one stone. I've heard that some people have a tough time with it and have to gradually increase how often they use it but I have fairly sensitive skin and haven't had any problems with it. At such a low price I highly recommend anyone to give it a try. Just remember your sun protection during the day since it leaves your skin more vulnerable to damage.
