CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion AM SPF 50 is a gentle formula containing broad spectrum sunscreen to defend the skin barrier against harmful UVA & UVB rays. Enriched with essential ceramides to build up the skin's natural barrier, and SPF to maintain a sunscreen protection, this fast-absorbing water-resistant moisturiser is formulated to protect the skin against pollution particles also. Developed with dermatologists and suitable for normal to dry skin on the face. Also suitable for acne-prone skin.

Powered by CeraVe’s patented delivery system, MVE technology, the lightweight face lotion offers a continuous release of moisturising ingredients throughout the day, providing up to 24-hour hydration. This CeraVe moisturising lotion for the face is calming and hydrating on the skin. It also contains Vitamin E and Niacinamide, leaving the skin feeling soothed. The CeraVe moisturizer is suitable all skin types including oily skin as well as dry skin.

how to use

Use pump applicator to dispense product onto fingertips, or directly onto face. Apply liberally to face and neck in the morning. This product is for daily photoprotection care. When exposed to intense or prolonged sun, use an adapted sunscreen. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Key Ingredients

Ceramides: These essential lipids bolster your skin's natural barrier, preventing moisture loss and supporting overall skin health. The inclusion of ceramides ensures that your skin remains moisturized and protected.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Niacinamide has a range of benefits for the skin. It regulates sebum production, improves skin texture, and offers anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe and calm the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid: This renowned humectant attracts and retains moisture, leaving your skin plump and hydrated throughout the day.

Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen Agents: A combination of physical (zinc oxide) and chemical (homosalate, octinoxate, octocrylene) sunscreen ingredients provide protection against both UVA and UVB rays, reducing the risk of sunburn and UV-induced skin damage.

MVE Technology: MultiVesicular Emulsion (MVE) technology releases key ingredients gradually over time, providing sustained hydration and support.

Bad reaction -skin blotchy and stingy

I bought CeraVe as I read lots of reviews of how good it was ... I didn't think I had sensitive skin but this immediately casued my skin to be red blotchy and uneven textured. Use with care... Took me a few days to realize it was this.

Think cream but feels lightweight on the skin. I am using it over my normal day cream and under make up. I am sure using it on its own is fine aswell as it provides good hydration.

Brilliant face sunscreen

I use this as a sunscreen not a daily moisturiser, so I apply the quarter of a teaspoon after my serums and moisturiser. It is not greasy, minimal shine and doesn't sting my eyes! It's a winner!

Moisturising as well as provides spf. No white cast as its a chemical sunscreen. But not sure about uva and uvb rating. Anyways a decent everyday spf.

Hi Shine, CeraVe products are non-irritating and fragrance-free. Most are also non-comedogenic. From research and reports it does seem that this product is safe for use during pregnancy however this is not outline by the brand themselves, therefore we would advise for you to check with your doctor :) x
