Paula's Choice Calm 1% BHA Sensitive Skin Exfoliant is a lightweight lotion with 1% Salicylic Acid, a Beta-Hydroxy Acid with anti-inflammatory properties. The lower concentration of Salicylic Acid makes this product an ideal BHA starter product for those with sensitive skin. Salicylic Acid lifts dead skin cells from the skin's surface and penetrates into the pore lining to help remove blockages.
It also calms the redness associated with Rosacea or sensitive skin reactions. A variety of soothing botanical extracts including Oat Bran Extract and Willow Herb Extract help to calm skin, while Glycerin and the essential fatty acid Lauric Acid have skin-repairing properties.

Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning. Apply over the entire face. This product can be used in the general eye area, but avoid the eyelids, lower lash line, and direct contact with the eyes. Follow with SPF during the day time.
