Lactic Acid is a naturally occurring substance found in many foods. Present in milk, it's the reason why Cleopatra supposedly bathed in milk to keep her skin soft and beautiful. When used regularly, Lactic Acid creates visible change in the skin. This Alpha-Hydroxy-Acid differs from its AHA cousins in two important ways.
