Key Ingredients:
Base: A 100% vegetable-origin emulsion composed of a complex mixture of fatty acids derived from olive oil and rapeseed. Generates liquid crystal structures that mimic lipid organisation of the stratum corneum. This microbiome-friendly emulsion preserves skin’s microbiota composition and biodiversity while providing deep moisturising effect and strengthening the skin lipid barrier.

Nonapeptide-1: A biomimetic peptide antagonist specific of the α-MSH (Alpha Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone). Inhibits activation of tyrosinase and thus blocking melanin production. Clinical studies have confirmed efficacy of nonapeptide-1 in reduction of sun spots, freckles and uneven pigmentation. This peptide helps reveal a brighter and more luminous skin complexion.

Niacinamide: A biologically active form of Vitamin B3 (niacin), essential in cell metabolism and energy production. Niacinamide is a multifunction active ingredient providing multiple benefits for the skin: evens skin tone, reduces the appearance of hyperpigmented spots, reduces pore size and oiliness, improves skin texture, enhances skin barrier function, diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and acts as an energising agent. Due to anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide is used in the treatment of rosacea and acne.

Squalane: Squalane, derived from olive oil, mimics natural skin lipids and thereby reinforces skin barrier, replenishes lipids, prevents moisture loss and restores skin's suppleness.

Diglucosyl Gallic Acid: Also known as THBG, this acid is an alpha-glucoside derivative of trihydroxy benzoic acid (THBA). Once applied to the skin, THBG is partially converted into THBA by the skin’s microbiome. Both molecules act in synergy, acting as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents that inhibit melanin production. Clinic studies have shown that this active ingredient visibly brightens skin and helps fade dark spots.

Hesperidin: A flavonoid derived from the peel of citrus fruits. Enhances microcirculation and shows strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Improves skin tone, helps brighten the complexion, reduces the appearance of dark circles under the eyes and helps improve skin’s vitality.

Aminoethylphosphinic acid: A weak organic acid that reduces the appearance of dark spots, improves skin complexion and prevents skin dullness. Acts contrarily to standard tyrosinase inhibitors: it stabilises the DOPAchrome, hence prevents its later transformation into melanin.

Zinc-Glycine Complex: Demonstrates strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin-brightening properties. Significantly reduces melanocyte proliferation and melanin production and enhances production of collagen and elastin.

Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate: A stable ester form of Vitamin C. Inhibits the synthesis of melanin, accelerates the production of collagen and plays a role of important antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent.

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: a stable derivative of Vitamin C. Effectively inhibits the formation of melanin, promotes collagen production and demonstrates antioxidant properties.

Shiso (Perilla frutescens): Shiso, also known as Japanese mint, is a plant rich in polyphenols (particularly rosmarinic acid) and triterpenoids (particularly ursolic acid). We use an extract obtained from Shiso leaf which demonstrates excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic properties. Shiso leaf has been used for years in Kampo medicine due to strong detox properties, and its ability to soothe sensitive skin and prevent skin reactivity.

Glycyrrhetinic Acid: Derived from shredded roots of liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Exhibits powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is used to calm, soothe, soften and smooth the skin.

Allantoin: A derivate of uric acid found naturally in many plants. Improves skin's moisture retention while showing excellent anti-irritant, protective and soothing properties. Acts as mild keratolytic agent. Promotes skin renewal and cell regeneration and accelerates wounds healing.

Bisabolol: An active molecule extracted from Chamomile. Possesses strong antioxidant, anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Phospholipids: Major building components in the structure of cellular membranes. These natural, skin-identical ingredients demonstrate excellent moisturising, repairing and protective properties.

Beta-Sitosterol: One of several phytosterols (plant sterols) similar to cholesterol which occurs naturally in skin. Acts as an emollient, anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing agent.

Yeast: A filtrate of the lysate (the solution consisting of the material released from cell lysis; cellular disruption) obtained by the fermentation of yeast (Saccharomyces). Rich in amino acids, essential minerals, beta-glucan and vitamins. Possesses anti-inflammatory, revitalising and protective properties. Increases cell respiration and metabolism, stimulates oxygen consumption and enhances skin repair.

Sodium Hyaluronate: A salt of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA improves skin moisture, strengthens barrier function, helps to retain and maintain skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and restores skin suppleness.

Squalene: Derived from olive oil. Provides a moisture barrier to protect the skin and shows excellent emollient and soothing properties.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol): A naturally derived vitamin with powerful antioxidant and photoprotective properties. Tocopherol is an excellent moisturiser that helps to reduce water loss and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.

Vitamin E Acetate (Tocopheryl Acetate): An acetic acid ester of Vitamin E. Acts as a strong antioxidant, enhances moisturisation and strengthens the skin barrier.
