The hero ingredient is Provitamin D3 (7-Dehydrocholesterol) which naturally occurs in the skin and converts to Vitamin D under the activity of sunlight. Vitamin D regulates the growth of keratinocytes, which make up over 90% of the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) making it essential for healthy skin. It enhances skin's barrier functions and helps to protect against microbial attack, environmental aggressors and stressed conditions.

Active ingredients:
Provitamin D3: Encapsulated form of provitamin D3 (7-Dehydrocholesterol). Provitamin D3 is converted to vitamin D3 upon exposure to sunlight. Reinforces skin barrier function, increases skin resistance against environmental aggressors and supports the skin’s natural recovery.

Fructooligosaccharides: Plant-derived sugars with excellent moisturising properties. Help to optimise skin microbioma and strengthen skin defences.

Beetroot (Beta vulgaris): An extract obtained from the root of the beet. Rich in betaine, this moisturising active ingredient potentiates the effect of provitamin D3.

Chicory (Cichorium intybus): A root extract rich in inulin. This moisturising active acts as a ‘vitamin D-like’ ingredient: it restores the functions of the vitamin D receptor, reinforces skin barrier and enhances skin’s natural recovery capacity. Chicory extract also supports the balance of the skin microbiome.

Glycosaminoglycans: Polysaccharides naturally present in the skin as major components of the extracellular matrix. Exhibit excellent moisturising and skin regenerating properties. Supports the collagen network by inhibiting matrix metalloproteinase (MMP), enzymes responsible for collagen degradation. Increases skin resistance to physical damage and enhances skin barrier function. Clinical studies have shown that glycosaminoglycans reduce the appearance of dark circles, rosacea and skin redness.

Hyaluronic Acid: A full spectrum of different molecular weights (very low, low and medium) of pure hyaluronic acid working in synergy. Shows multiple activities: improves skin moisture, strengthens barrier function, helps to retain and maintain skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and restores skin suppleness.

Yeast: A filtrate of the lysate (the solution consisting of the material released from cell lysis; cellular disruption) obtained by the fermentation of yeast (Saccharomyces). Rich in amino acids, essential minerals, beta-glucan and vitamins. Possesses anti-inflammatory, revitalising and protective properties. Increases cell respiration and metabolism, stimulates oxygen consumption and enhances skin repair.

Betaine: A natural molecule derived from beetroot (Beta vulgaris). Shows excellent moisturising, conditioning and anti-inflammatory properties.

Amino Acid Complex: A blend of 8 amino acids (Proline, Arginine, Threonine, Lysine HCL, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Alanine, Serine). Boosts skin moisture, supports natural collagen production and promotes skin elasticity.

Glycerin: A vegetable-derived molecule naturally present in the skin. Acts an excellent humectant, a substance that attracts moisture from the environment and increases the amount of water in the surface layers of the skin.

Almond esters: Derived from almond, these esters improve skin moisture, skin smoothness and elasticity, while supporting skin barrier repairing.

Sodium PCA: A sodium salt of PCA (pyroglutamic acid), a naturally occurring component of human skin and a part of NMF (natural moisturising factors). Used as humectants due to excellent moisturising, conditioning and water-absorbing properties.

Panthenol: A provitamin of vitamin B5. Used as an emollient due to excellent moisturising and conditioning properties. Clinical studies have shown that panthenol reduces inflammation and itching, provides a soothing effect and promotes wound healing.

Use daily and throughout the day as required. Can be used under or over makeup. Hold bottle 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) from face and spray evenly two to three times over face and neck. Avoid direct contact with eyes.
