Active ingredients:

Prebiotics: A blend of sugar molecules called α-glucooligosaccharides obtained from corn and beetroot, and β-fructooligosaccharides derived from yacon tubers (Polymnia sonchifolia). Prebiotics support the growth of good (beneficial) bacteria on the skin surface to help rebalance healthy skin microflora, demonstrate excellent moisturising properties and promote healthier skin.

Probiotics: A blend of inactivated bacteria from 3 bacterial strains (Lactobacillus Casei, Lactobacillus Acidohilus, Lactobacillus Bulgaricus). Probiotics help to maintain, optimise and restore the natural microflora of the skin, support the skin’s natural immune defences, enhance the recovery of the skin’s barrier function and exhibit a potent soothing effect.

Postbiotics: Metabolites produced during the fermentation process of probiotic bacteria Bifidobacterium, rich in proteins, lactic acid, vitamins and minerals. Help to reinforce the skin microbiome, improve the integrity of the skin barrier, shield against environmental aggressors and support skin renewal. Postbiotics also show anti-inflammatory, calming and softening properties.

Acetyl Heptapeptide-4: A peptide composed of seven amino acids which helps to improve the skin’s defence system and reinforce skin protective barrier by promoting microbiota balance and diversity.

Shiso (Perilla frutescens): Shiso, also known as Japanese mint, is a plant rich in polyphenols (particularly rosmarinic acid) and triterpenoids (particularly ursolic acid). We use an extract obtained from Shiso leaf which demonstrates excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic properties. Shiso leaf has been used for years in Kampo medicine due to strong detox properties, and its ability to soothe sensitive skin and prevent skin reactivity. The oil extracted from the seeds of Shiso is the richest plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. It replenishes moisture, reinforces the skin’s natural barrier and shows strong restructuring, repairing, healing and soothing properties.

Botanical blend: A blend of fermented grape (Vitis vinifera) fruit, ginger (Zingiber officinale) root and Frankincense (Bowellia serrata) resin. Demonstrates purifying, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Helps rebalance skin microbiota and reduces skin redness and unpleasant sensations due to irritation.

Yeast: A filtrate of the lysate (the solution consisting of the material released from cell lysis; cellular disruption) obtained by the fermentation of yeast (Saccharomyces). Rich in amino acids, essential minerals, beta-glucan and vitamins. Possesses anti-inflammatory, revitalising and protective properties. Increases cell respiration and metabolism, stimulates oxygen consumption and enhances skin repair.

Amino Acid Complex: A blend of 11 amino acids (Aspartic Acid, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Glucose, Histidine, Phenylalanine) which helps to replenish lost moisture and keep skin moisturised. Supports natural collagen and elastin production and promotes skin elasticity.

Plant sugars: Plant-derived sugar molecules with humectant properties. Help to limit water loss and retain moisture in the skin. Promote natural production of hyaluronic acid to help reduce visible signs of aging.

PCA/Sodium PCA: PCA and a sodium salt of PCA (pyroglutamic acid), a naturally occurring component of human skin and a part of NMF (natural moisturizing factors). Used as humectants due to excellent moisturising, conditioning and water-absorbing properties.

Glycerin: A vegetable-derived molecule naturally present in the skin. Acts as an excellent humectant, a substance that attracts moisture from the environment and increases the amount of water in the surface layers of the skin.

Aspen bark (Populus tremuloides): The extract from the bark of the Aspen tree is rich in salicylates, naturally occurring plant-based derivatives of salicylic acid. It shows excellent antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, preservative and astringent properties.

Leuconostoc/Radish Root: A probiotic derived from the radish root fermented with the lactic acid bacteria, Leuconostoc kimchii. Demonstrates excellent anti-microbial and preserving properties. In addition, it provides moisturising and skin-conditioning benefits.

Size: 50ml

Use daily and throughout the day as required. Can be used under or over makeup. Hold bottle 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) from face and spray evenly two to three times over face and neck. Avoid direct contact with eyes.
